How soon should I make the booking?
The earlier you book the more likely I am available for your special event. To guarantee your booking I accept a deposit before the event. Please call or email me. If you need to book me at short notice please call me at 916.934.6030.

How would I know how long I need you for?
To give you an idea -- I can paint approximately 8-10 full face designs or 15 cheek art. I will require more time for complex designs.

What payment methods do you accept?
- Cash only on the day of the event(No Change Carried)
- Personal Checks or Paypal for deposits (additional 3% if using Paypal)
- Only Paypal if Booking date is less than 2 weeks
- Cheques should be made out to FACES BY ANU (mailing address will be given with booking confirmation)

Can I change my mind and cancel?
You may cancel at any time. The deposit will be fully refunded if you cancel before 2 weeks. No refunds thereafter. You may reschedule for a later date.

Do you supply your own equipment?
Yes! I supply my own paint, brushes, water etc. You just need to have an area available for me to paint. If you need me to bring my own table and chairs - please inform me in advance. For the comfort of your guests a shaded and sheltered area is preferred.

What kind of paints do you use?
I use a combination of professional/theatrical make-up from international suppliers. These would include 'Paradise', 'Snazaroo', 'Mehron', 'Kryolan' - all of these make-ups are considered by many face painters to be of the highest quality available. The paints/make-up are non-toxic & hypo-allergenic and are FDA approved. Snazaroo paints also carry a "child toy safety rating" and is one of the world’s safest face painting products.
Paints wash off easily with mild soap and warm water at the end of the day, or you can use a wash cloth or wet/baby wipes, but the paint should be removed before bedtime.
Some colours will stain more than others so you may need to repeat cleaning depending on how long you have been wearing the face paint and what the colour is - this is normal and will fade within a day or two.

What are Glitter Tattoos?
Paint-on Glitter Tattoo is a revolutionary concept that put together the vibrancy and fun colors of Face Painting with the lasting effect of Henna. It is very versatile, you may choose to remove it right away after the event by using any oil based products or let it stay up to a week to show off to friends. Glitter Tattoos are not removed by bathing so it is sure to leave a lasting impression on your guests even after your event.

Will the paints stain my clothing?
They may temporarily but should come off in a cold water wash. Do not use warm or hot water. To avoid staining bed sheets the face paint should be removed before going to bed.

Do you have any restrictions?
I will not paint anyone under 2 years old or kids who are crying and cannot sit still. I also do not paint anyone who is obviously ill or has open cuts/sores.

How can I tell if I'm allergic?
If you think you or the person that is to be painted has sensitive skin or has allergies please ask for a patch test. (I apply a small amount of paint to the inside of the elbow and if after 30mins there is no reaction then I will be happy to paint them).

I will need your name, address of event, contact number for the day, time and date of event, and few other details.
After confirmation, I will email you an invoice/booking confirmation, which includes all the details of your booking. I will call you a couple of days before to confirm the schedule.
